I drive a 32 tonne tipper wagon, i deliver goods to customers in various locations around Scotland . I then go and pick loads up to go back to the quarry to tip. My duties include to do my safety checks every day, and continue the safety checks throughout the day, to make sure my load is contained in a safe and responsible manner and to report any defects to the garage.

My duties included vehicle safety checks, going to the tarmac plant early morning to pick the tarmac up, to make sure the tarmac was on the job in time to start the job. i made sure the tarmac was kept hot all day. My tarmac laying duties were operating a hand held roller, operating a wacker plate, a wackerrammer, still saw and laying the tar.

Duties included to make sure all safety checks were completed to make sure the wagon was fit for purpose. I had to drive around the North West to various sites the builders would inform the team what kind of mix they required. I would mix the concrete to the slump they requested. The team would wheelbarrow the concrete in to where the foundations were until the job was complete we would then return to the depot and clean the machine of all the concrete and reload for the ext job.

I went to the depot to pick up windows and doors for the days work, we would travel around the North West to various sites and fit the windows and doors into new built houses.

When i first started i was on the production line, which included getting the batches ready to put into the machine to get the mix of the dishwasher powder ready to go down to the line for packing. After two years of being there i changes role to distribution operative my duties included driving fork lift trucks and man ups to go into the isles to pick all the various products what were being loaded onto all the vehicle's which were to be delivered to the allocated stores.
