Arts Management undergraduate at Goldsmiths, University of London, now seeking internship opportunities within eighteenth- and nineteenth-century English and European furniture dealerships to gain direct, practical experience working with period pieces.
Alongside my early-career work in the arts, I have over three years of experience in client-facing roles across account management and sales. This included managing client portfolios, overseeing full sales cycles, and maintaining accurate records and communication. While outside the arts, this experience has given me a strong foundation in client relations, discretion, and organisation, which I bring to my work in this field.
During my internship at Olympia Auctions (formerly Thomas Del Mar in Association with Sotheby’s), I gained hands-on experience in art auction house operations through close collaboration with senior specialists, all former Sotheby’s directors and specialists with over 30 years of experience. I supported several departments with research and administration, assisted in the gallery during public viewings, and engaged with clients while helping present works for sale. I also managed post-sale collections, overseeing communication and ensuring the accurate handling and location of works.
I worked on the organisation and transfer of archival material to the Tate’s Libraries, supported day-to-day gallery operations, and assisted in the preparation and delivery of exhibitions. I also produced digital materials for the Director using Adobe InDesign and coordinated exhibition listings across platforms such as ArtRabbit and Artforum.
