  • February 2022: Researched and wrote New College of Humanities Essay Competition entry: “How prepared is the international community to tackle the current environmental crisis”.
  • October 2022: Asked to present ‘Does society create criminals- “the nature vs. Nurture debate” to the whole school as part of the “Festival of Ideas”.
  • Attend monthly SMAC talks where I participate in debates around the topics presented.
  • Invited to attend “Heretics”- an exclusive society where we debate, with viewpoints from different subjects, topics such as “The meaning of life” or “Is time merely a social construct”
  • Attend “Phillipa Foot” (Philosophy and Theology) society weekly. Receive talks from philosophers/ theologians (such as William Lane Craig) and then question/ debate.

Field Hockey (goalkeeper):

  • Recent Stats: Barcelona Tour 0.882 save percentage (October 2022)
  • Selected for Dorset County aged 14 however chose not to continue due to an unsatisfactory playing standard.
  • Final 16 in England Hockey Schools National Cup (2021)
  • Dorset county schools U14 (2018), U16 (2020) and U18 (2022) champions.
  • First player in my year-group to represent the school at 1st Team level aged 14.
