MERON RADAE

A reliable and hard-working Year 13 sixth-form student with strong experience working with people in both educational and community settings. Developed excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills through my role as a Kumon Assistant and my involvement in volunteering and leadership activities. Confident working in fast-paced environments, staying calm under pressure and providing a positive experience for others. Committed to contributing to a customer-focused team at Tesco Express and delivering high standards of service.

• Youth Leader, Envision Project, As part of the Envision social action program, I co-led a project where our team planned and delivered a lunch club for Year 7 and 8 students and organised a charity movie night for our sixth form. I took responsibility for coordinating parts of the event, including speaking in front of large groups, promoting the event and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day. Through this experience, I developed strong public speaking and teamwork skills, learned how to motivate others and gained confidence in leading under pressure. It taught me how to be organised, adaptable and solution focused.
• Sports Leader, I was selected by P.E staff to help lead warmups and supervise younger students during sports days and inter-form tournaments. I also supported Year 7-9 students in team games, promoted fair play and helped less confident pupils feel included. This has developed my confidence in managing small groups and giving clear, encouraging instructions.
