Summary

I am currently employed at Star Rowing Club, having started in September 2024 in a part-time role as Bar and Functions Manager.

My responsibilities include purchase of stock and stock control, food service and preparation, weekly menu choice, staff rotas, ensuring the café operates in line with food standards regulations and health and safety requirements. I am also responsible for checking and submitting staff invoices to Payroll, recruiting, interviewing and training new recruits and being responsible for the team of staff that i work with. I meet and greet prospective clients interested in booking the function room and liaise with them as required. I communicate directly with the Management Board as part of my current position. Due to the café only operating at certain times, the number of hours available to work is limited.

Jan 2024- September 2024 working in retail for Willen Hospice in a large "pop up" shop which i enormously enjoyed. Unfortunately, the landlord of the premises gave notice unexpectedly to Willen which made staff there redundant. The position involved meeting new people and greeting familiar faces when they came into the premises to buy items from our shop, helping support much needed income for Willen Hospice. This required engagement with the customers, building relationships and in turn increasing revenue streams. I lead in actively selling Willen branded lottery scratchcards and "Round up" contributions and enthused colleagues and volunteers to do the same, encouraging and promoting incentives for the top selling employee/volunteer. The store had multiple job roles that i actively covered from opening and closing the premises, running and maintaining the coffee shop, stock control, floor presentation, volunteer training and volunteer support, managing large groups of corporate volunteers on a weekly basis, processing sales and much more.

I was previously a trustworthy and friendly Dog Walker building positive, respectful, caring relationships with dogs and their owners.

Prior to this whilst i was working at Electronic Card Acceptance Company, I was also Bromham CofE Primary PTA Chair for 3 years and Vice- Chair for a further 3 years and have 6 years of event planning to drive donations, organising and running fundraising events, increasing PTA revenue by 100%. I am accomplished in developing and maintaining relationships with past and prospective donors.

I am enthusiastic and accomplished in working with corporate leaders to receive sponsorships and initiate matching gift programs.
Organized and dependable, successful at managing multiple priorities
with a positive attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to
meet team goals.
Whatever position I hold, I am dedicated to maximizing customer
satisfaction with proactive attention to individual customer needs
handling questions and concerns with problem-solving abilities and
attention to detail. I am efficient at multitasking and managing time well
to meet targets.
I am outgoing and friendly, focused and dependable, delivering excellent customer service and administration.
