Whilst completing a Diploma in Childcare and Education at Bury College I had a final placement at Clever Clogs working throughout the Nursery.
When qualifying I was offered a position as a Nursery Practitioner which I took in July 2010.
I started as a Nursery Practitioner, working in the Baby room with ages 0-1.
Within the first year I then became Room Leader of the Baby Room.
I then transitioned to the Toddler Room to become the Room Leader of The Toddler room, working with children aged 1-2.
I then became a Senior Practitioner in 2012 which included supporting the Manager and Deputy Manager, working more closely with the Parents and Carers and supporting our team members.
In 2011 I then became the Designated Safeguarding Officer.
I then became an Assisting Deputy Manager
This entitles me to work alongside the Deputy Manager and the Manager and supporting them.
Deal with money/fees and parents' complaints and suggestions if minor.

In June 2015 I took the decision to return to Clever Clogs Day Nursery, to work with children in the Pre-School room with children aged 3-4
I then took the role of Tweenie Room Leader working with children aged 2-3
I also became the nursery SENCO, which included regular correspondence with a Speech Therapist and creating Individual Learning and Development Plans.
During my time at the nursery, I was then promoted and took on the role as the Deputy Manager which introduced me to a range of new responsibilities. These responsibilities consisted of, opening and closing of the nursery, ensuring all appropriate checks and risk assessments are carried out. Responsible of the running and routine of the nursery, alongside and in the absence of the Nursery Manager. Overseeing my team, promoting good practice and providing support and mentoring. Ensuring good partnerships with parents Safety and care of all children in the setting, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.

When beginning employment with Parenta Training I was undergoing my Level 3 TAQA Assessor NVQ
I began employment as a Trainee Assessor in November 2016
I completed my TAQA NVQ in January and was offered a Qualified Assessor role which was not permanent role until I reached probation in February 2018
I was then offered full time employment
Within my role, I assess the following qualifications, Early Years Practitioner Level 2, Early Years Educator Level 3, Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5, Level 3 Diploma in Team Management.
I take responsibility for my caseload of learners, ensuring a high quality of support and teaching.
I ensure a good professional partnership is developed with both learner and employer and ensure good employer engagement throughout.
I support learners to plan for and complete a good range of Off The Job Learning activities to support skills and knowledge within the setting.
I plan to ensure the needs of the learners are met by creating and using Individual Learner Plans.
I complete regular Progress Reviews, provide action plans and support any barriers to learning.
I provide detailed support to prepare learners to take their End Point Assessment.
