I also have a good knowledge base of dementia and elderly care needs. Looking for a position in a clinical setting any care group. I work well under pressure and I am good team player and also have a good ability to work independently when the need arises.

I am competent with keeping records and documentations up to date to enable other staff and official people to fully understand the care plan of the patients needs and my input into this documentation.

During my day to day work life as aH.C.A I have the following responsibilities:

1. EWS Monitoring

2. PUP Chart (turning position chart, and bed sore prevention)

3. Nutrition charts

4.Stool shorts.

5. Fluid balance charts.

6. Glucose blood monitoring charts

7.Must charts

8. Intentional rounding charts.

I also provide personal care and hygiene needs for the patient and assist in last rights when a patient has deceased.

Being a H.C.A is a role that I have found to be very rewarding in numerous ways . The client base that I have worked with for the last eight years are at all different stages from diagnosis right through to end of life. It has been and continues to be a great privilege to work with people when they are at such a vulnerable stage of their life and I feel honoured to assist in helping them to get through this experience with the guidance and expertise of the rest of the team.

In my lifetime I have had the experience of knowing how a good team of focused and caring professionals can make all the difference to how a person copes under the extreme pressure of serious illness within the family setting.

I enjoy reading in my spare time and find this-relaxes me. I also enjoy eating in nice restaurants as well as going to the the gym.
