Key Accomplishments:

Led 3 teams across Healthcare patient Income, Improvement and Service costing, and Income recovery managing a team of 20 staff which delivered:

• Improved and Streamlined Reporting cycle from 10 days reporting to 3-day reporting
• Income reporting with developed processes and collaborative working with colleagues, thus providing relevant, accurate and timely information produced, leading to effective decision making
• Debtor reduction from £7m to <£1m

• Developing services for the African diaspora to take care of their loved ones in Africa
• Monray Health a startup, with a focus on services which facilitate Africans in the diaspora to target their remittances to Africa into pre-paid healthcare services for their family and friends in Africa.

Delivery of Trust Income maximisation strategy and long-term financial plans increased trust, through income generation of £2m, and process improvement of £3m

Key Accomplishments:

• Delivered an Income recovery programme of £2m recurrently, ensuring that the Trust was able to maximise income, this included a focus on capturing, coding and pricing of activity
• Finance lead for annual Contract Negotiations with commissioners
• Developed a new robust acute contracts monitoring, reporting and challenging process through working with Information and Operational teams, creating awareness and ownership of the challenges, this approach delivered a 90% reduction in data quality challenges
• Lead for the Trusts demand and capacity modelling, identifying key trends, highlighting underutilisation and shortages in the system
• Finance led National additional funding streams to the Trust; Winter Resilience and RTT, working in conjunction with operational colleagues in the development of schemes that supported the Trust
• Finance and contractual lead for the Trust in the implementation of the Hospital at Home virtual ward model, in conjunction with ORLA Healthcare
• Implementation of the Trust's new business case process.
