Summary
The energy mix that will take the world forwards will move towards renewable energy over time, with oil and gas and nuclear remaining key parts of that mix for years to come. Fascinated by the oil industry and the complexities of the task of finding and producing hydrocarbons I graduated as a Petroleum Engineer in 2020. Following my undergraduate course and a short internship in the National oil company, I undertook a masters in Environmental Sustainability at Napier University in Edinburgh to better prepare me for the challenges of the hydrocarbon industry in this period of rapid change.
I am keen to follow a career in Petroleum Engineering, and believe I am prepared to be a Petroleum Engineer of the future.
