• Part of the Speciality & Fund Finance Origination team, providing funding solutions to secured and unsecured lenders across the property, consumer and SME sectors, as well as to private funds.
• Lead due diligence on prospective clients, assessing business model, financial forecasts and underlying portfolio assets, including run-off analysis to evaluate downside protection.
• Support negotiation of pricing, eligibility criteria, covenants and in-life portfolio reporting requirements.
• Prepare detailed credit papers outlining transaction structure, key risks and recommendation; present proposals to Credit Committee to obtain approval.

Selected Transactions:

• £65m RCF – Castelnau Group (Fund Finance): NAV based facility to to refinance existing debt and support growth; led fund-level due diligence and managed the Credit Committee approval process.
• £20m RCF – ScotLend (Bridging Finance): Shawbrook’s first transaction supporting a Scottish-based lender; led client due diligence process and assessed Scottish legal and security considerations as part of structuring.
• £10m Block Facility – Portman Finance (SME Finance): Funding line to scale SME loan origination; conducted portfolio analysis to inform eligibility criteria and structural protections in line with the Bank’s risk appetite.

• Undertook extended solo travel across six countries. Completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and earned PADI Open Water Diving certification.

• Joined as an intern and promoted to full-time Analyst within four months. Alantra acts as lead advisor and arranger on buy and sell-side credit transactions, including performing and non-performing loan sales and securitisations.
• Remediated and prepared data tapes to compile due diligence packages, including stratifications and portfolio analytics.
• Performed cash flow modelling to support valuations of performing and non-performing loan portfolios.
• Managed VDRs and acted as day-to-day contact for clients and legal counsel throughout diligence and closing.
• Prepared pitch presentations for prospective mandates and drafted Information Memoranda for live portfolio transactions.
