I am currently responsible for the day to day running of the admin office at GBNFC Children’s Centre and Grendon and Billesley Nursery.

I work two days per week at each centre. My role includes following strict safeguarding measures for adults and children, providing a high level of customer service and using discretion and understanding in a non-discriminatory manner when in contact with vulnerable families. I work closely alongside Early Years Workers, Family Support workers and Health Visitors to offer administrative support.


My role also includes:

· Support the input of data onto Rio NHS system.

· Supporting the Finance Officer with gathering invoices/Petty cash and maintaining finance spreadsheets ready for auditing.

· Booking and organising of community events from hall hire, entertainers, resources, refreshments.

· Creating Poster/Newsletters & Documents using Microsoft Office.

· Monitoring/Evaluation and promoting social media

· Update databases with personal, financial and other data while maintaining data standards, including adherence to the Data Protection Act.

· Responsible for stocktaking of Stationery/ordering & group resources.

· Booking Agency staff & interpreters when required.

· General administration duties to include Microsoft Office.

I worked at All Trade Services which is a small landscape gardening and building company, my main tasks involved general admin, invoicing, pricing, taking telephone messages, quoting by phone and email. I also visited jobs to meet with customers and work force this allows me to keep up a close working customer and business relationship. I worked very closely with the business owner within this role to ensure all jobs run smoothly and efficiently. I very much enjoyed this role and have learnt many new qualities and skills in which I believe will help me throughout my work and personal life.

The Ticket Factory

I started at the ticket factory as a Sales Advisor in Late July 2009 where I was taken on as a casual member of staff, given work as and when they had the demand, 2 months later I was taken on as a full time member of staff, this proving that I was constantly hard working, and proved myself worth of the position.

The Ticket Factory is a leading national ticket agent for events across the UK and the official box office for The NEC, The LG Arena & the NIA. To carry out this job I am professional and a highly-skilled communicator, I currently work annualised hours on a flexible rota covering shifts between 07:45 – 22:00, within the office environment where I carry out duties including, Answering inbound calls in a customer service/contact center environment dealing with a high volume of calls, Accurately processing ticket sales using a variety of systems and up selling associated products and services, Meeting targets set by clients and management. I also do some admin work, such as despatching tickets, pulling reports and sorting out duplicate tickets ready for the concert night. Party of my role also include working the events and concerts at both the LG arena, and NIA Birmingham, here I have to act professional, and confident at all times as I am dealing with the public face to face in box office/kiosk environments working on concerts, exhibitions and other events at a variety of venues, I also deal with cash handling on a regular basis when working the events. I am a trained key holder meaning that I often find myself responsible for cashing up at end of play, as well as being in control of the safe, this shows that I am a trusted and valued member of staff, as I have earnt this respect by being a continuously hard working member of staff.

From May 2013 I then moved to the Group Bookings Department on a secondment basis, this job widened my skills within the business having to deal with Clients, Company’s and individual group bookers, meeting their demands, needs and keeping their business with us. I very much enjoyed my time with this team.

From September 2013 I then applied and secured a position with the Customer Service and Complaints Department. My daily duties included email complaints as well as telephone complaints, in coming post and queries from other departments. This job also included many administration tasks working for the customer and managers to make an event or show run smoothly and efficiently. Within this job role I also worked alongside Sky Tickets maintaining a ticketing service for them and offering after sales and customer care for Sky Ticket customers. Whilst working within this job role I again worked box office events around the UK offering excellent customer service dealing with complaints and problems that may arise. I am currently enjoying working within this role problem solving and furthering my experience.

My Role within The Ticket Factory has recently changed to Box office Specialist. This role includes liaising with clients and working alongside client services to offer an excellent box office team for all events. This role also includes working as a Sales Supervisor within the contact centre assisting all Sales Agents with support throughout their shift. I am currently enjoying this roll and learning many new skills along the way.

Whilst working at the ticket factory I have learnt many new skills and attributes such as, confidence, excellent listening and problem solving skills, I am highly target driven to ensure I meet all targets set, I am very much customer focused within this role, and I have a very flexible approach to work. I feel I am a sales driven individual with excellent customer service skills. I am confident in my role and find it easy to up sell additional products such as car parking tickets. I am computer literate, and can work easy in a very fast paced environment.

Here I worked as both a receptionist and administrator; I thoroughly enjoyed my time here as I was a always kept busy learning new skills regularly. To help me within this role I had to be independent, time sufficient, work well under pressure and adaptable, which I feel I was.

I worked for Frank Stones Garage for just over a year showing both my persistency and dedication to the role, my duties involved using the computer to calculate V.A.T for car parts and creating invoices for the different companies that the company worked with. I also took control of the company accounts and whilst carrying out general reception duties which included, cash handling, answering phones, dealing with customers and working with other members of the team.
