I am a compassionate, motivated and diligent individual, who is committed to continuously improving patient care and promoting positive culture. With over six years of experience at Stockton Hall Hospital, I have been entrusted with numerous opportunities to showcase my leadership and clinical skills, including supporting ward management for a period, working in challenging environments, co-ordinating multidisciplinary team meetings, covering as the Night Staff Co-ordinator, managing a complex caseload of patients, undertaking several quality assurance measures, conducting staff meetings and delivering training regarding the management of individual patient risks. These experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and expertise to excel in the Deputy Ward Manager role, ensuring high-quality care delivery and efficient ward operations.
Moreover, I have demonstrated my ability to work with integrity whilst striving for positive culture. I have strong interpersonal skills and have always strived to foster open communication and mutual respect. I am proactive in addressing team dynamics and have demonstrated this in my clinical supervisions and on a day-to-day basis. I have strong mentorship skills and utilise them to harbour a positive working environment for the staff, patients, external professionals, and student nurses.
I am eager to take the next step in my career and I believe that the role of the Deputy Ward Manager aligns perfectly with my passion for patient care, leadership and team work. Furthermore, this role will allow me to continue to contribute my skills and experience while continuing to grow as a role model who upholds The Priory’s values of 'Putting People First' and 'Striving For Excellence'.
