Megan Parry

my current role at Park Place Dental Practice, I work within a busy private dental practice providing both general and cosmetic dentistry. I welcome patients, manage appointments, respond to telephone and email enquiries, and ensure the smooth running of the reception area while delivering a professional and friendly service. Working closely with dentists, nurses and the wider team has strengthened my communication, organisation and teamwork skills, while maintaining patient confidentiality and providing excellent customer care. This role has enhanced my ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure and create a positive experience for patients throughout their visit.

• In my current role at Footasylum, I have developed strong skills in customer service, sales, and teamwork. I enjoy engaging with customers to understand their needs and offer personalised recommendations, which has sharpened my communication and problem-solving abilities. Working in a fast-paced environment has enhanced my time management, organisational, and multitasking skills, while maintaining store presentation and supporting sales targets has taught me the importance of attention to detail and collaboration. I thrive in this dynamic setting, where I can combine my passion for fashion with delivering an excellent customer experience, making each day enjoyable and rewarding.

• I have always had a love for gymnastics since a young age. After doing my young leaders I went on to volunteer for gymnastics4schools which runs after school gymnastics clubs around Cardiff. Communication skills were essential in this role , as well being organised, patient and following safeguarding regulations.

• I have thoroughly enjoyed working at Newport Indoor Football Centre where I am in charge of running children's football parties dealing with up to thirty children , as well as serving in its very busy cafe which involved excellent communication skills and being able to multitask at the till whilst speaking with customers.
