Summary

A driven HR professional with over 3 years of experience in a busy HR environment. I hold a keen interest in Human Resources, especially employee relations and engagement, focusing on fostering a positive workplace environment. My current role in Communications has enabled me to improve on various aspects of communications as well as, project management and relationship building especially across global and national teams. I have a CIPD Level 5 certification and am working towards Level 7, aiming to further enhance expertise in HR leadership and strategic initiatives.

I wish to develop my HR skills further with an opportunity in a Human Resources team.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively create professional communications and advice to support business needs and initiatives.
  • Developed and implemented internal communication strategies to enhance employee engagement.
  • Coordinated production of promotional materials for any facility information or events, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Reviewed and edited communications for clarity and consistency, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Create engaging weekly newsletters, keeping employees updated about company and facility news, messages from Senior Leadership Team and achievements.
  • Research and publish Facility newsletters, Website, Viva Engage, Social Media and Intranet content to broadcast awareness of Peterlee facility.

Hobbies and Interests

I attend Newcastle matches, home and away regularly. I have experience in various sports throughout my life but more recently I enjoy going to the gym. 

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, socialising, or going on holiday. I also like to spend my time alone, reading a book or with a craft activity! 

In recent years I have been involved in various charity fundraisers in different workplaces and throughout my academic career.
