As part of a start up you often have to wear several hats. The Maker Station works on a membership basis, where relationships with members to encourage creative collaborations is key. I used my previous experience in digital marketing to build a large following of creatives in the area, via social media.

As a start up we started as a team of 3, then grew into an army of volunteers, employees, work experience students and local freelancers. Building a diverse and creative team.
I was in charge of all external communications as well as the day to day running of the space and events.
