Summary

I have many years experience working with children and young people. I have spent fifteen years working within a primary school setting and have three years as experience working as a family support worker. In my current role I support children and adults and provide emotional support, support with grant applications, sibling support and support in hospital for children when they are going through a very traumatic experience. I have experience working with children from newborns up to young people who turn 18. I also support parents and extended family to provide a listening ear. I help families to find support they are eligible for and always try to provide the best outcome possible for families I support. I am always timely with writing case notes which detail the visits I have been on and the support given to families and in my recent end of year review i was described by my manager as an outstanding member of the team. For further information please see my attached personal statement.
