- Mobile Banking Migration system is an effort to migrate servers belonging to third party vendors to RBSG(RBS Group) in order to reduce its dependency from third party vendors
- This, requires end to end testing of mobile apps across all platform(iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows and WatchOS) to ensure that migration from servers have little or no effect on the client side
- The Personal and Business Banking (P&BB) sector of RBS aims to provide services that are up-to-date to its end users
- It includes both e-banking and mobile banking applications that ensures its customers experience easy way to handle their bank accounts by implementing cutting edge technologies such as Touch ID and Accessibility features
- The RBS Enterprise application consists of about 10 different mobile applications on iOS and Android
- The project consists of both development and testing of these applications offshore
- The applications aim to provide user friendly services to the employees of RBS
- The Production Certification team tests and ensures that the mobile apps of the Bank are defect free and provide sign-off for the apps to be released on App store and Play store
- This involved testing and sign-off of both consumer app and investment apps, namely, Merrill Edge, Merrill Lynch and Benefits Online that fall under the GWIM (Global Wealth and Investment Management) category
