I am a young dedicated and hard working individual with good life experience In a variety of different roles I'm committed to gaining the upmost and best for myself and others I'm determined to be successful in anything I pursue and wish to commit fully in anything I follow. I'm experienced in the offshore field and enjoy the challenges it brings me but with the discipline and skills I gained in the army I'm also punctual, professional, reliable and strive to do everything 100%. I am also a newly qualified commercial diver looking to make a step into the diving industry and gain a beneficial career.

Commercial Diver Training

01.2025 - 03.2025
  • During my time at Commercial Diver Training I undertook a 10 week air diver course to become a qualified commercial diver. Throughout my time I completed three phases HSE SCUBA, Surface supplied and offshore top up.
  • Throughout each phase I learnt a variety of new skills including underwater rigging, BROCO cutting, hydraulic tools, pneumatic tools, chamber operation for surface decompression, cage diving and wet bell diving. We also used air bags for lifting weighted objects from the seabed to surface.

  • First aid and oxygen administration.
  • Ensured maximum safety during dives by adhering strictly to protocols and procedures.
  • Demonstrated excellent teamwork whilst on commercial diving projects, achieving project objectives efficiently.

Assistant driller

  • During my time at Fugro I carried out daily tasks such as assistant the driller in drilling operations such as coring runs to retrieve sample precise which was then taken to the lab for geotechnical analysis. Tripping in and out pipe general roughneck work using a variety of hand tools chain tongs etc.
  • Maintained machines and tools with regular cleaning and lubrication.
  • Operated hydraulic pumps in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Observed health and safety protocols and properly used all required PPE.
  • Communicated with equipment operators to signal movement or stop operations.
  • I regularly assisted the rig mech in the servicing and upkeep of the hydraulic power packs and power swivel carrying out various weekly checks oil changes etc as well as helping in any fixing of issues that arrived within the drilling operations .
  • I also utilised my NVQ in welding and fabrication and carried out various welding and fabrication tasks to help with upkeep and maintenance of the rig.

  • During my time in the military I deployed on various operations and overseas exercises such as France, Germany, Cyprus, Kenya and Iraq during in all of these I demonstrated various different types of engineering and leadership skills using a variety of methods such bridge building, use of power tools, the use of controlled explosives, military tactics and preparation and planning.
  • I also reached the rank of corporal during my time in the military which taught me amazing managerial skills and how to manage a team of men in a variety of situations in hostile and remote places around the world.
  • Whilst in the military I completed my NVQ level 3 in welding and fabrication gaining good experience in all types of welding such as MIG/MAG, MMA, OA Welding, SOLDERING and TIG welding. I implemented these welding techniques in various places such as Cyprus RAF AkotirI where me and a team constructed a fuel point shelter for the refuelling of aircraft's.
