During my apprenticeship, I gained valuable experience in business operations, with several tasks aligning closely with marketing functions. I communicate through email and phone calls, dealt with data, and collaborated across teams to ensure brand presentation.
I've always had a strong interest in marketing, I enjoy how content is created, and how strategy comes together to influence a targeted audience. I especially enjoyed working on tasks related to content preparation, internal communications, and data analysis, which deepened my enthusiasm for pursuing a career in marketing.
As an Apprentice Business Administrator, I supported day-to-day administrative tasks across all departments, ensuring the smooth running of office tasks within a professional, fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included data entry with Excel, document management, handling emails through Outlook and calls with UK branches, following up appointments, and providing support to internal teams. We also handle employees holiday, sickness and, NFC requests. I do this everyday alongside staying up to date and completing all my apprentice work which has massively improved my time-management. This was a very different job for me and i found i have the ability to adapt to unknown environments.
As a team we oversea any businesses events or ideas, for example company awards and Christmas Party's, we plan themes, decoration and music, create invites and newsletters using Canva and Internal fun days at work.
I enjoy learning how different areas of the business worked and it’s given me the opportunity to develop my skills in communication, and problem-solving. Being part of a supportive team and contributing to the success of an estate agency was very motivating.
