A curious and adaptable worker looking to continually develop and gain new skills, as well as driven to provide the best customer experience. After working for around two years in pharmacy retail, I have gained strong customer service, attention to detail, and product knowledge skills, as well as experience in a range of tasks. In addition, I have learnt how to work efficiently under pressure and communicate clearly with customers and co-workers, ensuring high standards, which I am eager to apply in new roles.
During my time in this role, I interacted with customers and acted as channel between them and the pharmacists. Some of my responsibilities included helping customers find certain products, as well as giving recommendations, locating and re-ordering prescriptions on the online system, unpacking and replenishing stock, re-ordering stock, assembling certain prescriptions, working the till, and ensuring that the space was tidy. These tasks aided me in building characteristics and skills to provide the best experience possible, with improved patience, fast thinking, problem solving and organisation as I carried out all my duties.
Whilst at Sha'arei Tsedek I assisted with, and led, large group activities with children aged 11-13 years, as well as teaching either one-on-one or up to three-on-one. During my time as a teacher I had to improve my flexibility and adaptation skills due to students' changing needs. Furthermore, I had to improve my empathy to relate and connect with the students, allowing me to help them in the best way possible to reach their end goal.
