Currently undertaking Network Rail’s Structured Development Programme in the Signalling & Telecoms (S&T) discipline. The programme is designed to develop technical knowledge and on-site competency through a combination of theoretical learning and practical experience.

Joined Network Rail as a Track Operative and gained extensive experience in fieldwork, safety practices, and technical maintenance.

• Conducted maintenance tasks involving inspection, cleaning, and repair of infrastructure.
• Operated technical tools and machinery including drills, cutters, and lifting gear.
• Adhered to strict safety protocols and completed regular site inspections.
• Collaborated closely with multi-disciplinary teams and supervisors.

Supported rail site safety operations and earned qualifications including COSS. Regularly engaged in safety planning and mentoring of new staff.

• Followed strict Safe System of Work procedures.
• Mentored junior staff on-site expectations and responsibilities.
• Monitored on-site compliance and raised safety concerns when needed.
