Work Experience
I chose to be placed at Prolectric during my work experience as it meant that I would be able to partake in a wider range of roles there and therefore demanded a range of skills. For example, my first couple days started in the office looking at more of the business side, however, the rest of the week was more hands on starting with me helping with the cleaning and maintenance of solar light towers that had previously been deployed followed by me actually constructing parts to go inside of solar generators as well as fitting them myself. I preferred the hands on jobs and believe it helped with my quality control, equipment maintenance and also completing tasks in a timely manner.
