Throughout my tenure on various construction sites, I've enhanced my understanding of construction management and gained a comprehensive insight into the industry's intricacies.
My professional ethos centers around punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Exceptional communication skills are paramount in the construction realm, and I excel in fostering positive relationships with stakeholders at every level. I maintain composure and patience even in challenging circumstances, whether dealing with clients, contractors, or colleagues. My tenure with a leading construction company has ingrained in me the utmost importance of Health and Safety, Sustainability, and the uncompromising quality of every stage during the build process.
My role within the housing sector has afforded me invaluable experience in surpassing client expectations and managing post-construction care seamlessly. Actively engaging with subcontractors, I orchestrate project progress through efficient coordination, chairing weekly meetings, and facilitating on-site operations. Furthermore, by adeptly utilising IT tools, I am able to meticulously monitor progress, manage material call-offs, and conduct thorough inspections at critical project junctures.
I currently hold the position of Trainee Assistant Site Manager overseeing a project comprising over 1000 units spanning four phases in Daresbury, Warrington. From the inception of the project, I have been involved in managing the first phase, which encompasses a diverse array of 3, 4- & 5-bedroom houses across nine different house types, with prices ranging from £400,000 to £680,000 for larger properties.
Situated directly behind Redrow Northwest’s head office, this project serves as the flagship site for the division. My primary responsibilities include ensuring the construction of a quality product, adhering to safety protocols, staying within agreed budgets and timelines, and fostering close collaboration with the Sales and Customer Care Departments to uphold customer satisfaction.
Moreover, I oversee the induction of operatives upon commencing work on-site and ensure the implementation of all necessary method statements and risk assessments. Additionally, I serve as one of the site's first aiders, ensuring strict adherence to government and Redrow policies aimed at safeguarding the health and well-being of all on-site operatives.
