Max Penfold

As I am 16 years old and still in school I have no work experience so far.

However, within school I have shown determination throughout my schooling and I am keen to obtain my predicted GCSE grades.

My attendance has always been above 97%, I am punctual, reliable, determined, likeable and gregarious. I have received achievement awards from school for respect, determination, and team work. I am described by teachers as having a consistent positive attitude to learning. I am proud in what I have achieved from school and am very much looking forwards to what I am able to achieve next.

A little about me, I enjoy sport, particularly football, i enjoy playing this with friends rather than as part of any club. I live at home with my family, including younger brother, mum and stepdad. I enjoy seeing my dad who lives in Eastbourne regularly. I have a dog at home, and like to spend time with him.

I enjoy go-karting and try to do this as often as possible, this has helped with an interest in cars, and vehicles, and understanding how things work. I like to solve problems, I like challenges, being creative and have different daily opportunities. This is why I have decided engineering may be a good career move, and I am excited in what I can achieve in this area.
