. Part of the Glasgow and Strathclyde University Officer Training Corps (GSUOTC) gaining Army training and leadership experience. 

· A member the Stirling Wanderers Hockey club. I also captained the Beaconhurst School hockey team and coached hockey to younger years at the School.

· I am a keen skier and a member of the Scottish Ski Club. I have also raced competitively in the UK and Europe.

· Keen mountaineer, I have completed many Munros in Scotland and summited Mount Kilimanjaro
