Energy Specialist and Recruitment Site Lead

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist smart tariff customers (Solar, Heat Pump, EV), providing expert technical support, ensuring seamless integration of smart products.
  • Participating in discovery days at Octopus Energy, conducting candidate interviews, facilitating role-play assessments, and providing detailed evaluations to support hiring decisions.
  • Lead my team in managing KMT requests using Django Admin with experience leading the KMT processes for the Manchester site.
  • Delivering training to new starters, mentoring new ES in the smart teams.
  • Manage a team of core recruitment assessors including site leadership.
  • Overseeing operations hiring for the Manchester site.

Shell migration secondment (Bosnia)

  • Identifying knowledge gaps, and then developing and delivering training resources to ES's and TL's.
  • Independently running projects to improve processes and highlight areas for improvement (Such as my resource acceptability report).
  • Embodying octopus culture and our customer centric approach, ultimately transferring that to the Shell teams.
  • Working alongside and delivering training to a teams of a different culture and country, with language barriers.
