Completed Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh Awards, engaging in volunteering, physical and skills activities alongside challenging expeditions. Developed teamwork, communication, leadership, map-reading and navigation skills, as well as resilience, problem-solving and ability to work effectively under pressure in unfamiliar environments.
Pursued Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award while studying A-Levels at Cirencester College, including a five-day expedition to Lake District as navigator, setting up camp and cooking. Completed week-long residential placement with Duke of Edinburgh participants from across the country. Near completion of year-long volunteering programme through local church, and passed driving test for skills element. Learnt squash to fulfil physical section.
Prepared and served a variety of coffees, teas, and other beverages to meet customer preferences.
