Job role, responsibility overview, this is a multi-faceted role ensuring that the estate of ANPR and Manual sites are operating correctly and effectively, ensuring compliance across all sites. Reporting into the UK Operations Dept, and working closely with NI Account Manager.

• Performing reactive response and routine maintenance on all P&D machines, minimising downtime and to identifying potential problems.

• Cameras, Modems and Tablets, performing reactive response and performing routine maintenance and replacing faulty hardware if necessary.

• Signage , performing routine maintenance , identifying issues and replacing were deemed necessary. Complete signage changeovers as required i.e. when signs damaged / require relocation.

• Undertaking quarterly site inspections and reporting findings back to clients and QESH manager for auditing.

• Reporting - running client reports on machines, Flowbird, RingGo and Smart Cloud.

• New installations , assisting NI Account Manager with completion of site surveys, following standard SP process regarding costings and sign off.

• Compiling final site compliance photographs , location maps as set down by the BPA code of practice.

Job role overview / responsibilities, effectively managed the companies property portfolio , standalone multistory car park , multiple parking, retail and office properties , outsourced ANPR enforcement and directly liaised with contractor ( Smart Parking) on multiple sites. Reported directly to the two company directors.

• Oversaw maintenance activities maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and ensuring statutory compliance was completed and documented
• Introduced innovative ideas to maximise usage of unutilised parking spaces, maximising profit and reducing operating costs.
• Liaised daily with external contractors for building maintenance, managed refurbishment projects.
• Analysed parking trends, collated statistics and financial data forwarded to directors or relevant tenants.
• Managed tenders, including stipulating minimum system specifications for new parking technology, Pay on Foot , P&D , ANPR & CCTV projects.
• Overseen routine maintenance of parking equipment , automated roller shutters, CCTV and liaised with the relevant manufacturer or appointed service partner.
• Managed small team of staff , within multiple sites.

Achievements

• Adapted and implemented complete technology based solutions to minimise staffing levels, maximise efficiency and profit within Graham Gardens Multi-storey . designed car parks within carparks charging multiple tariffs , sourced and configured parking technology specific to my needs working directly with manufacturers including HUB Parking , Skidata Ireland , Hik-vision and Dahua.
• Post Covid (Lock down) implemented upgrades to parking equipment , intercoms / call diversion , automated roller shutters , automatic doors , lighting through access control servers for Graham Gardens Multi-storey this making it completely self sufficient to be managed remotely through mobile device or desktop . This successful automation allowed the car park to open and close efficiently unmanned hence still providing the safety and statutory compliance element.
• One of the first car parks within Electro Automation's portfolio to achieve a nesting car park within a carpark that could change the tariff seamless without a customer needing to insert or validate their ticket , achieved utilising Hik-Vision ANPR and direct negotiation with HUB and field testing each suppliers software. . Unfortunately this concept has been utilised by several other parking operators recently , however not all successfully.
