As a Radio Operator, i was responsible for ensuring that the phones and radios are always operational ,Installing and calibrating devices and instruments to prepare for broadcasting ,verifying the quality of recordings and determining the need for re-recording to obtain necessary creatives for production ,ensuring that messages are well copied/passed to all people concerned and recorded on the registration book ,monitoring and registering the ambulance movements (departure, arrival, number of passengers, route taken, standard contact points) and informs line manager of any delay ,ensuring the report of movements is on time and most importantly , communicating effectively with supply/log team for required materials for the call center and the ambulances.
