Experienced Electrician with experience and knowledge in the coach build industry, along with the Domestic and Commercial sector.
Has many skills, always up for learning new skills.
Renegade-UK is in the coach build industry building high end motorsport race and hospitality articulated trailers.
These trailers transport race cars, while turning into a workshop area in the rear, and pop out office space in the front.
I am the sole electrician responsible for the design, installation and commissioning of all electrical installations inside these trailer's.
I am responsible for fault finding issue's with electrical systems, along with call-outs to on site issue's.
Installation of generator's, including design of automated change-over system between generator and mains hook-up.
I also do all the low voltage DC side. Including: Trailer road lighting, battery systems, charging systems, inverter's, solar panels.
I learned about the hydraulic systems used in these trailers for slide-out pods/platform and landing legs.
This then became my responsibility to install all hydraulics in the trailer's.
Along with designing the electrical circuits to allow the hydraulics to operate safely.
I became well versed with Tail Lifts. I became knowledgeable with all aspects of the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems used.
I started my own electrical installations company doing a mix of domestic, commercial and light industrial installations.
I become approved/accredited by the NICEIC.
This became successful, with an increasing number of regular commercial customer's.
I then started doing work for Renegade-UK, which i much enjoyed due to my interest of motorsport.
I was offered a permanent employed job here, which i accepted.
I then closed down Matt Webb Electrical Services Ltd.
Started work at Clarkson Evans having become a qualified electrician with little experience.
I started working alongside other experienced electricians, then attended jobs mostly solo in the domestic and commercial environment.
I left this job in 2014, when i started my own business.
I started work at Tesco Express working part time, while attending college 3 days a week.
I left after becoming a qualified electrician, and starting work at Clarkson Evans.
