My current duties working for Evri include doing daily vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift, reporting any issues with my vehicle. I assist in the loading of my vehicle making sure that the pallets are safe and secure before leaving the site. During the night I deliver collared parcels to distribution centres in Wiltshire and Berkshire, unloading using a pump truck and tail lift making sure they are left in a tidy space and collecting empties to bring back to the yard. I am currently doing up to 3 trips per shift to and from the main hub in swindon.

My Duties here changed throughout my time at Neptune, whilst working up the ladder of progression I Started off as a driver’s mate delivering furniture to customers all over the country, moving up to a driver, after 4 years I became a team leader looking after 65 plus drivers whilst they are on and off the road, booking in agency when needed. For 6 months I have been assisting the fleet Manager in looking after and maintaining vehicles as well. Booking in fleet for repairs where necessary and making sure the drivers are doing their vehicle inspections properly.

Duties included Marking out building sites making sure parameters are met and that site layouts are correct, Preparing Ground ready for any works to be completed, Building Manholes and Sidekerbs, laying Tarmac, building walls and any other work that was needed on site.

Duties included manning the door of a nightclub, making sure that the staff and everyone else in the building had a safe working/clubbing environment, whilst preventing anything escalating as more than needed.

• Picking and packing goods at refrigerated temperatures accurately and to tight deadlines.
• Packed orders for timely dispatch to customers and retail outlets.

• Making outbound calls to potential clients in connection with PPI (Payment Protection Insurance) claims, working to targets and deadlines.

• Working in a high pressure environment as part of a customer-focussed team, delivering excellent customer service to tight deadlines, often at unsocial hours.

• Working as part of a small team in all weathers and at unsociable hours, delivering a high standard of customer service to deadlines.

• Sorting and organising incoming mail ready for delivery as part of a team, working with a high degree of accuracy and to tight deadlines.

• Providing a timely service to members of the public as part of a small team in a high pressure environment often at unsocial hours.
