Heliguy – Drone Solutions Specialist / Technical Consultant

• Drone Mapping: Plan and execute drone missions using industry-standard software, ensuring compliance with airspace regulations. Advise clients on optimal mission planning, equipment selection, and workflow strategies.

• LiDAR & Photogrammetry: Operate and maintain airborne and terrestrial LiDAR scanners and photogrammetry cameras. Guide clients through setup, data capture, and processing to produce orthomosaics, DEMs, DTMs, and 3D models. Provide tailored solutions for surveying, inspections, and other applications.

• GNSS & Field Workflows: Expert in GNSS technology, including setup, calibration, and post-processing to guarantee accurate spatial data. Conduct hands-on training and practical demonstrations for clients, improving their operational capabilities.

• Technical Sales & Consulting: Support organisations in starting and scaling drone programs. Provide on-site consulting, recommend suitable hardware and software, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure clients achieve their project goals.

• Account Management & Client Relations: Manage key accounts across construction, geospatial, and academic sectors. Maintain ongoing communication to understand evolving needs, propose solutions, and deliver exceptional service.

• Software & Workflows: Proficient with DJI Terra, LSS, ArcGIS, Pix4D, and other surveying software. Develop and implement workflows that streamline data processing and improve project efficiency.

• Qualifications: Up-to-date Drone licenses including A2 CofC and GVC.

Land Surveyor / Engineer

• Operated Leica GNSS, robotic total stations, digital levels, and laser scanners for accurate data collection.

• Led topographic, as-built, boundary, and bathymetric surveys, acting as head engineer on large-scale earthworks projects.

• Conducted setting out for plots, roads, road features, drainage/utilities, and steel frame structures.

• Managed on-site relationships with project managers, skilled workers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Performed stockpile surveys, volumetric calculations, and problem-solving on complex site challenges.

• Processed and drew topographic surveys using LSS and other specialist software.

• Demonstrated sound judgment and decisive problem-solving under high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.
