Professional Summary
I am a dedicated and hardworking Registered Mental Health Nurse with nearly 20 years of experience in the NHS, currently serving as a Matron in an inpatient eating disorder service. My career has consistently blended mental health expertise with a strong passion for physical health care, emergency response, and first aid.
Prior to nursing, I spent a decade as a pool lifeguard and trained as an Ambulance Technician through St John Ambulance, laying the foundation for my interest in acute medical care. Throughout my nursing career, I have actively managed medical emergencies and complex physical health presentations, including self-inflicted injuries such as cutting, ligaturing, and poisoning.
My current role involves significant overlap with physical health, particularly in the management of patients with eating disorders, which I have found deeply rewarding. I bring a unique skill set that combines clinical leadership, emergency care experience, and a compassionate, team-oriented approach.
I am now pursuing an exciting new career as an Offshore Medic, having successfully passed my medical with no limitations. I am currently completing the following qualifications to support this transition:
I am confident that my diverse experience, clinical acumen, and proactive mindset will allow me to thrive in offshore environments and contribute meaningfully to the health and safety of remote teams.
