Matthew Nevison

After leaving Menkind at the end of 2023 due to development on Teesside park, i started working for schuh as a part time sales assistant where i developed my skills in customer service, cash handling and stock management along many others. I quickly became a key member of the team doing more hours and spending a majority of my shifts working in the stockroom where i learned how to manage stock, send out orders and returns, bring in delivery's and support the sales team to the best of my ability.

• During my time at Menkind, i started off as a Christmas temp sales assistant, this is where i first learned my customer services skills and cash handling along with many other skills. Through my hard work and dedication to the team i worked my way up to first becoming supervisor where i gained some team management skills and also became a key holder. I've then progressed to assistant manager where i have furthered my skills in time management, team management and expanded my skills in which i have learnt throughout my time there.
