  • I began my apprenticeship through the OGTAP/APTUS programme, starting at Dalkeith College where I achieved my HNC in Measurement and Control Engineering. I then moved on site at Sullom Voe Terminal with Enquest, where I am currently completing my SVQ3 Level 3 in Process Engineering Maintenance (Instrument and Control).
  • During my time at Sullom Voe Terminal, I have:
  • Carried out fiscal calibrations and maintenance on a Jiskoot sampler system
  • Assisted with the Ninian pipeline trip test
  • Commissioned instruments including pressure differential transmitters (PDITs) and flow transmitters (FTs)
  • Carried out fault finding on flow control valves (FCVs)
  • Experience in completing other various types of jobs and routines

Accomplishments

Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) winner, 2018-08-01, I was part of a three-person team presenting on the Shetland Bike Project, a local charity supporting people back into work. I took on a leadership role, organising the project and ensuring that we delivered a high standard presentation. We won the competition and secured £3000 in funding for the charity. By taking part in this initiative, I developed skills in teamwork, organisation, planning and presenting.
