Summary

I am a highly organised and safety-focused person with extensive experience in leadership roles, including School House Captain and Cross-Country Captain. Through my mentoring roles and leadership roles both within school and the community I have learnt the value of being both a team leader and a team member. I have proved my ability to remain calm under high pressure situations through my work with Radio Cracker. I am highly committed to fostering teamwork and problem-solving, with a track record of inspiring peers during challenging expeditions such as the Duke of Edinburgh programme. I want to start my engineering career with NIE due to the excellent opportunities available and the ability to learn while getting hands on experience. Following on from the foundation degree I intend to progress to become a chartered engineer by completing an honours degree followed by a masters degree and I believe that NIE will provide the foundation and opportunities in which to achieve this.
