As a PTVR I have committed a minimum of 15 days annually to the Royal Air Force and have contributed to air operations as part-time volunteer reserve air specialist. so far I have done various tasks such as;

Conduct thorough vehicle checks before every shift, ensuring safe deliveries and minimising risks.

Adhered strictly to traffic laws during all deliveries, minimising risk of accidents or violations.

Maintained compliance with the RAF's policy, contributing to a safe work environment.

Ensured delivery paperwork was accurately completed and processed after shifts.

Documented daily logs accurately, supporting transparent operation procedures and facilitating effective communication.
I have also acquired transferable skills for civilian roles. Facilitated leadership exposure, enhancing professional growth opportunities.

As a bartender I have gained valuable skills, such as people management and customer service which is transferable to any other job. I have also been exposed to long hours and fast paced working environments which has made me better suited to pressure and a high workload. Some of the skills that I have learnt are;

General Kitchen Assistant - I was Responsible for the health and hygiene of a complex and fast-paced food preparation facility ensuring that the work areas are diligently cleaned above the standard expected for periodical inspections by specialist internal staff and external stakeholders for government auditors. Maintaining and monitoring cleaning and servicing records, including PPE Logs, COSHH Assessments & Storage records, First Aid Equipment and Fire Alarm & Extinguishers checks.

Local Delivery Employee for an independent trader throughout the Teesdale area ensuring that deliveries arrived on time and were correct for the customer base. Responsible of customer service, communicating face to face with customers and relaying any feedback through the management chain. As the face of the company on the frontline any complaints were also dealt with in the first instance in real time before reporting any unresolved issues up the management chain.
