- I was with Halfords for 7 years, and I've learned a lot more skills working for the company. I started out as a temp working in the warehouse bring in the delivery booking it all in, counting the load making sure it was all there, and a bike pre-builder. Then I got a part time contract with them, then I was a sales assistant/till worker.
- I also helps customers with orders for all types of things we do in store, as well as do fits on a customer's car. Like bulb fits battery oil and wiper blade fits. Then after a year I was given more training to PDI bikes and do repairs. The I moved up to being a cycle mechanic, doing basic bike repairs from fitting a new tube and tyre, to changing a chain. As I progressed I learned a lot more to then move on to the stores cycle technician within 3 years.
