
Maintenance Engineer at the MINI Plant in Oxford, responsibilities include reactive breakdown maintenance on a wide variety of equipment including Mechanical, Pneumatic, Electrical, Electronic, PLC, and Robotic systems. The rest of the time is spent performing preventative and planned maintenance routines on the above equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Seven years of experience at RWE Npower Didcot Power Station, concluding in March 2013 due to station closure. Completed a four-year high voltage electrical maintenance apprenticeship, achieving NVQ Level 3 in high voltage electrical power station maintenance and HNC in operations engineering. Served as an electrical craftsman/fitter, executing preventative and breakdown maintenance on motors, actuators, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems. Advanced to operations maintainer, assisting in the operation of a 500MW turbine boiler and associated plant while applying maintenance expertise as and where applicable.
