An ACA Qualified Audit Manager at a mid-Tier accounting firm based in London. Has supervised and then managed audits across a broad range of industries including investment funds, asset managers, charities and NFPs, hospitality and consulting. Have also worked on audits of different sizes, from small sole traders and partnerships to asset managers with over £2bn of AUM. In this time has also gained significant experience of both IFRS and UK GAAP.
Obtained strong exam results (over 70) in all of the ACA exams. Achieved particularly strong results in modules with a focus on corporate reporting, such as Financial Accounting and Reporting (90) and Corporate Reporting (88). I have carried this focus into my work in practice, where I have developed an interest in and strength for dealing with complex or subjective interpretations of accounting standards.
As a manager in practice, I have taken on an extensive range of responsibilities for the improvement of our audit department. This has included involvement in recruitment, existing and prospective audit software and the mentoring and performance management of junior staff.
ACA qualified since 2022.
