Since obtaining my Class1 licence I was tasked with Wagon & Drag trunking, taking loaded de-mountable boxes from Faverdale to various 'local fulfilment centres' ranging Mossend to Marsh Leys, Conwy, anywhere between.

For the last 3 years i have been mainly operating Trailer work,

involving Drop & Swap's to transfer Bulk Stock between Regional Delivery Centres ,

Double Deck trailers to Heysham port for all Home Deliveries throughout Ireland

My main route has been Faverdale to Mossend using L.S.T. trailers which was my preferred role,

I also kept a personal diary to record start & finish times, prime mover vehicle registration & drag number, box numbers and site name, return box numbers and any defects that required attending to.

Class 1 Vehicle registrations and trailer numbers, which site it was taken to

• Implemented new staff orientation programme for quicker integration
• Enhanced team performance by providing effective and motivating training sessions.
• Maintained health and safety regulations with regular training updates to the crew, including 2 yearly classroom based refresher of all applicable Safe Systems of Work to DHL policy's,
• Improved employee retention rates by setting clear expectations during initial training period.
• Identified training needs and recommended action to appropriate supervisor.
• Drove compliance to company standards by reinforcing rules and procedures.

As a De-Briefer i was responsible for the recording of all Home Delivery crews returning to site, inspect vehicles for damage and complete a full check of all lights and warning devices, check all goods returning to site (failed deliveries, collections and packaging) was in an acceptable condition before presenting to the warehouse for unloading and reloading of next days deliveries,

i was also responsible for allocating full time and Agency colleagues to fulfil all projected fleet profile's for home delivery, maintaining 2 week advance.

Complete pre shift Vehicle checks, locate designated Box and mount onto DAF 7.5 demountable chassis, secure box and check load, using the delivery sequence provided by the route planners, input all deliveries into Sat Nav.

with the assistance of a Drivers Mate / Porter we completed upto 65 deliveries of assorted home furnishings upto 78kg into customers properties using team lifting techniques to safely deliver items to the customers room of choice being carefully not to cause damage to the item being delivered and the customers property.

Using an LLoP, (Low Level order Picker) pick stock from designated locations within floor level racking, scan and place onto a stillage, when full, take it to designated loading bay, collect another empty stillage and repeat the process throughout my shift.

When all picking was complete i would then assist with the loading of all items onto a home delivery box, securing all items for safe transit on a home delivery vehicle or Wagon and Drag trunk to other Argos distribution centres,

Working via an Agency "Baxter Personnel" i was employed to accurately weigh, mix, and produce various Solvents, Resins, Pigments and powders to create paints for Aircraft and Military Vehicles to high standards,

during the last 8 months i was assigned to join a 3 man team in Q.R.S. on nights, (Quick Response Service) responsible as part of a team to produce and dispatch small batches of paint, from 250ml up to 500 litre batches, involving mixing of samples for spraying onto test plates for air-drying and forced drying to check colour match and quality.

Lathe operator, tool room machinist, miller, Profile Burner of various grades of mild steel and plasma cutting of various grades of stainless steel, fork lift operator Bonsa 4 tonne, lancer 6 tonne, Hyster 10 tonne and priestman 360 with scrap claw, Keyholder and delivery driver for 24hr call out to I.C.I sites as far as Runcorn. Yard Manager, ensuring all grades and thicknesses of Mild & Stainless steels are available for any emergency call outs, liaise with John and Steve Hadley (Managing Directors) to alert them of any stock requiring resupply

Started employment as Shelf Stacker, progressed to Checkout operator, Kiosk Controller then warehouse supervisor, responsible for checking and pricing of all stock delivered into store, receiving deliveries and reporting any crosspick issues senior management, store keyholder, responsible for opening store out of normal hours to receive promotional stock assignments, responsible for all rear door and door alarm keys as well as secure storage cage for Spirits and Tobacco products.
