I have worked in the hospitality industry in one way or another for most of my life, starting as a KP when i was a kid and eventually becoming a GM over time. Off the back of this I understand how to look after staff members at every level because I have done those jobs myself and understand the pressures at each level.
Over the years I have developed many different skills through different hospitality jobs in different towns and cities as I have moved around and grown as an individual.
Im am a friendly, easy to get along with, hardworking and patient individual who enjoys both creating and working in a fun working environment with good people.
A recent example of this would be in my current job where I have made excellent bonds with many of the regular customers to the point where we have become friends, and also have a lot of tourists who visit the city regularly that come back to the venue to see me specifically which I really get a kick out of.
I learned a great deal during my time at Maray, especially how to correctly run a business and how both staff and guests should be treated in a hospitality environment.
I have certainly carried the ethos I learned there with me in every job I have had since and it has served me well.
I have time for everyone and understand that not everybody learns in the same manner so you need to be patient and adaptable in those circumstances to make sure you have a happy and cohesive squad around you. The same goes for the guests experience, nobody is the same and you have to adapt to that.
Theres too much of my career to note here in a brief summary/CV, but I am more than happy to have a sit down and answer any questions you may have as a potential future employer.
Unfortunately most of my tenure here was throughout Covid so i wasnt actually working on site for a good deal of it. However once restrictions were semi lifted I helped with running the business from a takeaway van outside the premises allowing the personel that didnt qualify for the government paymets to be able to earn a pay check.
