I am an enthusiastic, credible, and experienced Detective Sergeant with a strong, tenacious work ethic, now seeking career progression and alternative employment to utilise my skillset and experience gained within criminal and National Security policing.

I have extensive experience within operational and investigative policing, more recently specialising in the intelligence environment and I am proficient in managing serious and complex investigations, supervising regional teams and liaising with all ranks of Police and Security Service to mitigate significant national security threats.

I have led the creation and supervision of new units to manage the highest risk national security intelligence, formed a Domestic Extremism Desk and a dedicated prisoner release team to manage Terrorism offenders.

In 2021 I became an accredited source controller, passing dedicated informant handling and Security Service courses, successfully performing this role at Police Inspector level, managing sources in high-level counter terrorism operations.

I have broad experience in managing high-risk intelligence and investigations, with a proven track record of implementing structures to manage risk and to provide effective management process.

I have a solid reputation of effective management and creative thinking to lead staff and create process and policy to deliver results.

Having recently passed the Police Inspector exam in support of career development, I have considered many options and am ready to use my experience as a platform to further develop myself.
