  • The Logistics Professions Advisory Team oversees approximately four thousand five hundred Service Personnel offering support and governance to its four specific specialisations, Supply, Movements, Drivers and Catering. These four specialisations underpin all operations within the Royal Air Force and as such provides mission critical support to operations both on a local and global scale.
  • As the Executive Officer within Coordination for the LPAT, my primary role was to lead the delivery and management of the Pan Defence Skills Framework for the Logistics Profession. This project sought to award skills and competencies to individuals across the Civil Service, Army, Navy and Royal Airforce in accordance with the 2025 Strategic Defence Review to allow Defence to mature as a “skills-based” organisation.
  • During my time in the LPAT, I have also successfully completed the PRINCE 2 Managing Successful Programmes (MSP): foundation and practitioner course, a comprehensive course for leading complex change through successful project management.
  • Further responsibilities include arranging the Logistics Professions Annual Seminar. This seminar is open to all four thousand five hundred logisticians, senior leaders (up to 2

  • Responsibilities included:
  • Developing the event schedule and managing logistics, including accommodation, transport, and catering.
  • Overseeing the application process, producing event materials, and coordinating merchandise.
  • Leading on-the-day operations, including registration and IT support.
  • Demonstrated strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and organisational skills to deliver mission-critical initiatives and events that enhanced collaboration and professional development across Defence.
