Excellent Customer Service Skills - I successfully was able to encounter different types of patients within a pharmacy and helped fulfill patient needs by answering their questions for e.g. being able to serve them the right medication but asking for assistance from the pharmacist first before giving the medication out to patients.
Excellent Stock Management Skills - I successfully was able to keep the front and the back of the pharmacy clean and organised for e.g. being able to stock the right products such as accessories and medications such as penicillin on the right shelves within the pharmacy.
Excellent Communication Skills - I successfully was able to communicate with different types of patients who had different types of health needs within the setting for e.g. dealing with patients who were non-verbal. Within my own experience in the pharmacy setting I successfully was able to help a patient who needed to collect his prescription by communicating with him through sign language and by writing on a piece of paper to understand the patient better.
Excellent Health and Safety Knowledge - I successfully was able to learn different types of regulations that should be carried out at all times within the pharmacy setting for e.g. if any syringes or needles have found to be contaminated by using a yellow box I had to safely dispose the syringes or needles by being able to throw them in the right bin which the bin was located outside the fire exit.
Excellent assisting and dispensing skills - I successfully was able to help different types of health professionals within the pharmacy setting such as the pharmacy assistant, pharmacy technician and pharmacist. Within my own experience in the pharmacy I successfully was able to look at a prescription, collect the right medication from the shelve, count how many pills the patient needs by only giving the patient the accurate amount of pills, being able to label the medication and to see if I correctly completed the task I asked one of the health professionals before giving the medication out to the patient if the task was successfully completed.

Accomplishments
Within my journey at Whalley Range 11-18 High School, I completed a full First Aid and Duke of Edinburgh Award at bronze level in the year 2020-2021. However, due to experiencing covid-19 and distance learning at the time I had to complete different tasks and activities at home such as volunteering and physical activities etc. However, this was only completed when I was able to send physical proof of myself completing different tasks and activities so that teachers have the sufficient evidence to tick me off for me to achieve the Duke of Edinburgh Award and First Aid.
