  • My main duty is to ensure the compliance of the UK payment entity with the FCA regulations
  • Besides I also have a global role where I need to interact with other general managers, lawyers, compliance officers, product owners and Infosec/Cyber security team
  • These stakeholders are based in Singapore, China, US, Australia and Luxembourg
  • As part of the role, I am responsible to manage the programmes belo
  • Product development: Building a platform called GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) from scratch to streamline the governance process for eBay managed payment regulated entities
  • The platform is made up of several workflows to automate the approval process and dashboards to provide insight to the senior stakeholders
  • The platform uses ERM methodology to assess the regulatory requirements risk and monitor controls’ strength
  • I am the business platform owner responsible for the platform strategic direction, communication with the business & technology, managing product owners and data integrity
  • In this capacity I have 3 product owners, a business analyst and a development team who report to me
  • Implementation of regulatory reporting for the FCA (REP017, FSA56, PSD2 Dedicated interface…)
  • Implementation of EU payment statistics report and dashboard (CDDP6) for eBay Luxemburg entity
  • Ensure compliance with the Payment Institution licence (safeguarding insurance, wind down planning)
  • Manage day to day operation of the UK entity (submission of annual regulatory reports, risk management, quarterly board meetings, internal and external audit programmes)
  • Setting up global KPIs to measure the performance of payment entities based in Luxembourg, US and Australia- for example dashboards for payment risk and fraud monitoring across the globe

  • Using this dashboard merchants can take actions to manage costs more efficiently
