Summary

My roles to date have included; Phase Leader across the 14-19 department at Oakfield School and Sports College, a Specialist teacher of Autism for Nottingham County Council and my current role as Assistant Head Teacher and SENCO at Bramcote College, ( part of the White Hills Park Trust). In addition to this I have also worked within our trust to support SEND within partner schools in Arnold (Pinewood Infants) and Alderman White Secondary school.

As AHT SENCo I support over 90 young people with a range of additional needs, including 12 with EHC plans.

The role requires me to be:

  • A highly effective communicator and collaborator
  • Have expertise in a wide range of SEND and know the legislation inside and out.
  • Have a clear leadership and vision

Drama Tutor

Nottingham Theatre of Citizens

The Nottingham Theatre of Citizens is a drama group for adults aged 18 to 45 + with additional needs.

My role here is to facilitate and lead weekly sessions that lead to yearly performances and sharing events.

The sessions run weekly for 3 hours in the evenings.
