I was the lead mentor at Clinical Investigation Unit and responsible for students on the unit. I cascaded training to other members of staff and arranged for staff to complete their mentorship training. I have also assessed and trained stu and new staff on cannulation and venepuncture.
I am very aware of the importance of evide based practice and I continually read and research in order to further my knowledge and improve my practice.
