- My current role is that of Head of Operations where, working as part of the senior leadership team, I am accountable for the allocation of resources and planning schedules for the engineering teams on UK wide rollouts of IT infrastructure implementation and upgrade projects

- This role is very varied as I not only look after day-to-day IT installation queries and quotes but go to customers sites and conduct surveys, Site meetings and quality checks
- On the odd occasion it has been known for me to turn up with tools to help a project get over the line in a timely manner
- The below are just a few of the projects I have and currently responsible for:
- BAE systems Network refresh – 2 year project updating and refreshing all Network cabling plus the deployment of new IT Hardware including switches and routers
- – Completed during lockdown and finished ahead of schedule and in budget
- Plumbase IT refresh project – 190+ site IT refresh project conducted during lockdown – New cabling infrastructure installs and new IT equipment rollout – Completed during lockdown and finished on time and within budget
- UKPS IT refresh project – 80+ site cabling refresh and IT equipment deployment - on going
- Brewer’s decorator centre’s – 180+ Site IT refresh program management – On going
- SDWAN Home office project 300+ sites to survey and remediation – 2 year on going project
- PDSA Network cabinet install and IT refresh of 156 sites Animal Hospitals and Charity shops – On going
- NHS Wi-Fi rollout of 112 practises across the south west – On going
- During this time, I have been responsible for the quoting, scheduling of engineering teams, Materials and plant hire also meeting with stakeholders for project updates

- My role working for Greencore Foods consisted of rolling out Skype for business
- This was a demanding role where attention to detail is key to the project rollout
- My task was to attend all manufacturing and office-based locations within the UK and United states to gather as much information on how the current PBX solution works
- This is achieved by meeting with managers and call centre operatives and watching firstly how they work and to also extract as much information from the managers on how they would like the system to work for them
- This information is then passed onto the Skype build team who in turn will develop the system for the specific site
- On go live and porting day I will attend the site and help users with the new phones and Skype client until they feel comfortable enough to be self-reliant on the system

- Attending kick off meetings to go over system requirements and where needed help with a redesign of call flow routing
- Also checking current system and gathering all necessary information on hunt groups, Pickup groups and Ext numbers
- Once all the system information has been gathered I would then help with the implementation on go live
- This would entail setting up the phones and thoroughly testing the new system against the requirements and where needed make appropriate system changes

- Gathering all relevant information in regards cable type and equipment in 1200 Server rooms including asset management of equipment
- This was to aid the project team with a windows 10 deployment project over the entire aerospace estate in Derbyshire
