Whilst working in the Critical Care Complex in NNUH, I looked after critically ill patients with complex needs such as mechanically ventilation, renal replacement therapy, spinal care and cardiac output monitoring.
As a student assessor, I have worked alongside clinical educators supporting junior members of the staff and nursing students.
In 2022, I completed Step 1 as part as the Steps Competency Framework for Adult Critical Care Nurses.
In January 2023 I completed the CPD module"Pathophysiology" at level 7 through UEA.
In June 2023 I completed the "Transfer Training Course" by the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
In September 2023-July 2024 I completed Steps 2 and 3 at level 7 through UEA.
Between 2019-2022, I moved to Norwich to expand my working experience in the oncology-haematology unit in NNUH.
I worked as a senior chemotherapy nurse, administering chemotherapy to elective patients as well as looking after acutely unwell haematology and oncology patients.
During this time, I coordinated the ward on a daily basis which helped me developed leadership skills.
In November 2020, I became competent in stem cell infusions.
In December 2020, I completed the Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor workshop and I started supporting nursing students in the unit.
In January 2021, I completed the course "Covid-19: Psychological first aid" through Public Health England, which gave me the skills to support my colleagues during these difficult times.
I worked in the Oncology unit looking after haematology/oncology patients.
In September 2018, I completed the " 24 hour triage: Rapid Assessment and Access Tool Kit Training" which developed my triage skills and allowed me to hold the Acute Oncology Service (AOS) line out of hours and triage patients over the phone.
In October 2018, I completed a Nelson's Journey Professional Training Workshop where I learned skills to support children through bereavement.
In November 2018, I completed the Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) competency passport and I started administering chemotherapy in the ward.
In 2025, I was employed by the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and moved to the United Kingdom.
I worked in an acute respiratory ward where I developed some nursing basic set of skills such as cannulation, venepuncture, wound care and medication administration. I also received respiratory specialized training in Non-Invasive ventilation, tracheostomy care and laryngectomy care for ward based patients.
